If you were between the ages of 10 and 18 in the early 2010s, then you probably played Tap Tap Revenge. The goal was to tap circles at the correct time as a song played in the background. The game was removed from app stores in 2014.
If you want to play something similar and remember your childhood, Beatstar is basically the same thing.
The concept and goal of the game is just as fun for me as it was 10 years ago. The app is free — there are in-app purchases available if you want them, but you don’t HAVE to pay for anything — and the layout is easy to use.
It’s the type of game that you can play as little or as much as you want without losing lives or failing quests, or anything like that. There are challenges that you can try to beat by a certain day or within a certain amount of time, but if you completely ignore those, the game is still fun.
This post isn’t sponsored. I was just super excited to find a game that reminded me of playing on my iPod touch in 2010, and I bet you’ll like it, too. 🙂
